Currently, I am on a plan with vodaphone (11 months left on a 2 year plan) and paying $170 (iphone x 256gb). My plan includes 80 GB of data along with insurance. The new vodaphone plans are offering more data. For example, for an iphone X 65 gb, 100 gb of mobile data and "Then keep using data at no extra cost in Oz at speeds of up to 1.5Mbps.", total cost per month is $116.
The reason for my plan was only mobile data but according to new plans I am paying $54 extra every month only because I have a contract. Like, they are now ripping off their old customers. Is there anyway I can get compensated in anyway?

At the moment there is no way to get a better plan because you have 11 months left. You get a 2 years plan and must pay for 2 years. You can cancel your contract to the end of the 2 years. Then you have the possibility to get a new contract (vodafone or other provider). Perhaps, Vodafone offers you a new contract with better conditions. But that offers arrives often a few weeks before the end of the contract - not when 11 months left.
After 21 months you have the possibility to extend the contract. Then you can often choose other plans and better conditions.
